Tandoori Mayo Recipe | Eggless Mayo | Mayonnaise Recipe

Drumrolls for Tandoori Mayo, today I'll be sharing a quick and easy recipe of tandoori mayo. This recipe can be made in under 10 mins and is perfect as a dipping sauce for fries, chips and good for spreading on sandwiches, burgers and shawarma rolls. Store-bought mayos have high amounts of fat and oil, This is a healthier version of the original as it contain less oil. The taste may differ slightly from the original, but its way more healthier and budget-friendly. A versatile and easy recipe, make sure to try it out at home and let me know how it turned out. Happy Cooking!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Curd- 1/2 cup
  • Oil- 2 tbsp
  • Cucumber- 1/2 cup
  • Green chillies- 2 nos
  • Salt- to taste
  • Ginger-garlic paste- 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Kasuri methi- 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Tandoori masala- 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice- 1 tbsp

PROCEDURE:

  • Take a blender jar, add cucumber and curd to it and blend until smooth.
  • Now add oil to it and blend, you'll notice that the mixture starts to thicken. If you want to make the original recipe, then use 3/2 cup oil instead to create an emulsion. I prefer the healthier version, that's wahy only 2 tbsp oil.
  • Now dd the rest of the spices and blend for 5 mins continuously.
  • Tandoori mayo is ready, serve along with chips, or fries. Tastes great along with shawarma and burgers.
  • You can even store this in the refrigerator for a week or two. Tastes best when fresh.
