Cucumber Mint Raita


Raita- A yogurt side-dish which compliments Dum Biryani, Veg Pulao beautifully. Pulaos and biryanis are incomplete without this. There are many versions of this beauty. Today I'm showing the recipe of Cucumber mint raita. Try this raita recipe and let me know in the comments how it turned out.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Curd- 1 cup
  • Mint leaves- 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves- 1/2 cup
  • Green chillies- 2-3 nos
  • Salt- to taste
  • Garlic cloves- 8-10 nos
  • Chopped cucumber- 1 cup
  • Chopped Onion- 1/2 cup

PROCEDURE:

  • In a mixer grinder jar, add curd, salt, green chillies, mint and coriander leaves.
  • Blend it well till it turns smooth and make sure everything has grinded smoothly.
  • Remove it in a bowl.
  • Add chopped cucumber and onions, mix well.
  • Serve right away along with biryani or pulao. Enjoy!
