Street style hakka noodles are easy to make. A great way to make a
quick meal. They make a great weekend dinner. Try these easy to make, spicy

INGREDIENTS:
For Boiling the noodles:
*Water- 8 cups
*Salt- 1 tsp
*Noodles- 2 packs
*Cold water- for rinsing
*Oil- 2 tbsp
For the Noodles:
*Oil- 2 tbsp
*Chopped garlic- 2-3 pods
*Onion- 1 (large, chopped)
*Sweet corn- ½ cup
*Capsicum- ½ cup (large, chopped)
*Potato- ½ cup (chopped)
*Carrot- ½ cup (sliced)
*Sugar- 1 tsp
*Salt- to taste
*Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
*Black pepper powder- 1tsp
*Ketchup- 2 tbsp
*Soya sauce- 2 tbsp
*Vinegar- 2 tbsp
*Chopped coriander leaves- ½ cup
PROCEDURE:
*Boil water in a large vessel and add salt to it.
*Let it come to a rolling boil.
*Add the noodle blocks to it.
*Mix lightly and cook till 80% done.
*Drain in a colander, and rinse well with cold water.
*Pour some oil and this will avoid noodles sticking to it.
*Set it aside, let’s prep the masala.
*Heat oil in a kadhai, add garlic and let it get slightly brown.
*Add chopped onions to it and let it get translucent.
*Now add all the chopped veggies.
*Add salt and sugar to it.
*Sugar will help balance the tastes in the noodles.
*Cook the veggies till it slightly changes color.
*Now add all the spices and sauces, mix well and check for seasoning.
*Now add the boiled noodles and toss lightly, such that all the sauces
are absorbed equally.
*Now add chopped coriander leaves.
*Serve right away along with PANEER MANCHURIAN.
