Green Chana Chaat | Hare Chana Chaat | Green Chana Salad

We all love Green Chana, It's healthy, tasty and irrestible. Today i'll show you the recipe of Green Chana Chaat recipe with Step by step pictures.Speaking of green chana, they are known to be high in protein, vitamin, minerals and fibre. A half a cup of Green chana has about 364 calories in it and is great for heart health. Try this healthy and chatpata recipe and I'm sure you'll love it.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Green Chana- 1 cup (Soaked for atleast 2-3 hrs)
  • Salt- to taste
  • Cucumber- 1/2 cup (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves- 1/4 cup (chopped)
  • Chaat Masala- 1 tsp
  • Jeera powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
  • Juice of 1 lemon

PROCEDURE:

  • Add soaked green chana to a pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles.
  • Check if the chana is cooked properly or else cook for another 2 whistles.
  • Drain the chana in a colander, don't throw the stock. You can use it any curry or sabzi recipe.
  • Now take chana in a bowl, add rest of the ingredients.
  • Mix well and check for seasoning and add salt or pepper if needed.
  • Green Chana Chaat is ready, devour right away.
