Milk Strawberry Jelly Pudding Recipe | Jelly Pudding Recipe

A simple yet flavourful jelly pudding recipe. A layer of milk pudding on the bottom, then layered with a stawberry jelly layer. The soft yet bouncy texture is light and tastes creamy. You can use any other variety of jelly like raspberry or mango. This recipe serves 8, you can even double the recipe according to your requirement. Check out the recipe and do try it out.


INGREDIENTS:

  • Milk- 500 ml
  • Sugar- 1 cup (more or less according to your preference)
  • Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
  • Milk powder- 2 tbsp
  • Cornflour- 1/2 cup
  • Strawberry flavor jelly packet- 1 pack

PROCEDURE:

  • Heat milk in a pan, allow it come to a boil.

  • Add sugar and vanilla essence to it and mix well.
  • Dissolve milk powder and cornflour from some milk in the vessel.
  • Pour it back to the vessel and cook on high flame. You'll notice that the mixture starts to thicken.

  • Let the mixture cook for another two minutes until it gets thick as condensed milk.

  • Switch off the flame and pour it in a greased tin or thali. Use a spatula and even it out completely.

  • Let it come to room temperature before refrigerating it for an hour.
  • Prepare jelly mix according to the packet instructions, Pour the hot jelly gradually onto the milk pudding layer.
  • Let is set completely, Chill it for a min of 3-4 hrs or even overnight if you have time. Cut into slices and serve chilled.
  • Milk and strawberry jelly pudding is ready. Serve chilled.
