HARIYALI BREAD TOAST

INGREDIENTS:

*Bread slices- 8 nos

*Eggs- 2 nos

*Onion- 1 nos (large, roughly chopped)

*Green chillies- 3 nos (more or less according to your taste)

*Coriander leaves- 1 cup (tightly packed)

*Salt- to taste

*Ghee- for shallow frying, ½ cup

 

PROCEDURE:

*Take a small blender jar, add coriander leaves, green chilies, and salt and grind to a fine paste.

*Now add onion to it and pulse.

*Onions should be rough to feel.


*Remove this mixture in a bowl, add eggs to it and whisk well to combine and make a homogenous mixture.

*Heat a spoonful of ghee on an iron tawa.

*Take a bread slice and apply the onion-egg mixture on one side and slowly invert the slice into the hot ghee.

*Apply the mixture on the other side too, and flip over.

*Apply ghee liberally and toast till the bread slices are cooked evenly.

*Prepare all the slices similarly.

*Serve hot with ketchup.
