HOMEMADE KASURI METHI

 


INGREDIENTS:

*Fresh fenugreek leaves- 1 bunch

*Clean cotton cloth

 

PROCEDURE:

*Pluck out the methi leaves from the stem.

*Take care not to include stems.

*In a large bowl, take the leaves and fill it with water and wash thoroughly.

*Wash the leaves for 4-5 times.

*Now allow the leaves to drain in a colander.

*After it drains well, preferably for 30 mins.

*Take the cotton cloth, spread it under shade and put the leaves on the cloth and spread well.

*Allow it to dry for 3-4 hrs, best when dried overnight.

*Now take the dried leaves in a microwave safe bowl.

*Microwave at high for 1 min.

*Check if the leaves are crispy, if not repeat the process for 1 more min.

*Now crush them well with your hands.

*Store in an airtight container in a cool place.
