INGREDIENTS:
*Water- 2 cups
*Ginger- 1 tbsp (Preferably with skin, roughly crushed)
*Mint leaves- 1/2 cup
*Green tea leaves- 1/2 tsp
*Jaggery- 1 tbsp
*Lemon- 1/2 wedge
PROCEDURE:
*Heat water in a saucepan.
*Add jaggery, crushed ginger, mint leaves.
*Let it come to a rolling boil.
*You can do this step earlier and let it steep for atleast 2-3 hrs. This makes the green tea strong and flavourful.
*Alternatively, you can skip the waiting part and add green tea leaves when it comes to a boil.
*Boil it for a min.
*Squeeze half a lemon on it.
* Serve hot and enjoy your great-tasting green tea.
*Don't add sugar to it instead of jaggery, as it'll do you more harm than good.
*This green tea can be had an hour after meals or even have it as the first thing early morning
