Chocolate Ganache Recipe

 


CHOCOLATE GANACHE RECIPE    

 

Chocolate ganache is a 1:1 mixture of chocolate and warm cream. Stirred until smooth, silky and shiny, ganache is a staple in any baker’s kitchen. It’s not only easy and quick, it’s uniquely versatile. This ganache can be a filling, dip, frosting or a layer in a cake. The variations are endless.

 






INGREDIENTS:

*Chocolate-1 cup [dark/ milk/white/bittersweet chocolate]

*Heavy whipped cream-1 cup

*Butter-2 tbsp

[You can double or even halve this recipe according to your requirement]

 

PROCEDURE:

*Always use 1:1 ratio of chocolate and cream

*Chop chocolate roughly and put it in a glass bowl.

*Now place this bowl on a double boiler setup and melt the chocolate.

*After the chocolate starts to melt pour cream on it.

*Stir until smooth and completely melted.

*Now add butter for the glossiness and stir until melted.

* Pouring Chocolate ganache is ready. Let it sit for a while and you use it to pour over your cakes or dip in an éclair.



*For Pipeable chocolate ganache, pop it in the fridge for about ½ an hour and use it to frost your cakes, or can be piped with piping tips.
