2 Min Microwave Mug Cake Recipe

In these days of quarantine, when you crave for 3  a dessert, this recipe is sure to come handy. You don’t need a supermarket trip for this easy and quick mug cake. Give this recipe a try and let me know in the comments how it turned out.






 

INGREDIENTS:

 

*24 glucose biscuits [I have used parle g biscuits you can use any sweet biscuit]

*1 cup milk[room temperature]

*3/4th tsp baking powder

 

PROCEDURE:

*Grind the biscuits to a fine powder in the small jar of your mixer.

*Remove it in a mixing bowl.

*Add baking powder and mix well.

*Add milk slowly by mixing with a spatula.

*The batter should be of pouring consistency.

*Pour into greased mugs .The volume of the batter should be upto 3/4th of the mug[ this is to avoid spilling of the batter by overflowing]

*Now microwave at high speed for 2 mins. Keep an eye on the microwave to stop the microwave if mugs overflow.

*Do the toothpick test to check if the cakes are baked[Insert a clean tooth pick in the cake and if the toothpick comes out clean, it's done]

*Cover with a damp kitchen towel to avoid hardening of the surface.

*Pour some chocolate syrup over it, and enjoy when still warm[ it is completely optional]

*To make the cakes more tasty you can add some tutti frutti or chopped dry fruits to the batter.
