Chicken Kheema Kabab | Easy Chicken Kabab Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Marinade:

  • Chicken mince- 600 gms
  • Bread crumbs- 3 tbsp
  • Chilli flakes- 2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
  • Oil- for kneading and frying

For the Masala:

  • Capsicum- 1 no (roughly chopped)
  • Coriander leaves- 1/2 cup
  • Salt- to taste
  • Green chillies- 3 nos (more or less according to your preference)
  • Onion- 1 no (chopped)

Procedure:

  • Prep all the ingredients for the masala.

  • Coarsely pulse it in your mixer jar. Remove any extra water if present. As the extra water in it can make the kabab mixture soggy. Make sure that the mixture is not too fine. We want the mixture to be coarse.

  • Take a large mixing bowl. Add chicken mince, bread crumbs, spices and the masala we prepped

  • Mix well. Drizzle some oil and knead the dough well for 2-3 mins. Make sure that the mixture is nice and smooth.
  • Cover it up and let it rest for 5-10 min.
  • Now take a portion of the dough and shape it into kababs. You can even shape it on a skewer too. You can shape the kababs and refrigerate or freeze it according to your usage and take and fry them whenever needed.

  • You can store them in your refrigerator for 3-4 days and in your deep freezer for over a month.
  • Heat some oil on a tawa. Place the kababs over it. Shallow fry for 2 mins on both sides. Let it get crispy. Make sure that you don't fry it for too long, as they can get overcooked and might feel dense and dry.

  • Keep the shaped kababs ready and fry them once needed. If you fry them ahead of serving and might need to reheat it. This can also make the kababs dry and dense.
