I grew up eating maggi and as I saw people online trying out new recipes for maggi, I was up for it. I saw various recipes online and have tried many of them, recipes for which are already up on my blog. Today, I'll be showing you the recipe of the viral Green Chilli Chicken Maggi. In this delicacy, chicken is cooked till tender in spices and sauces, and later maggi is cooked in it. Tastes spicy yet comforting. Ingredients:
- Oil- 2 tbsp
- Chopped Garlic- 4-5 nos
- Chopped onion- 1 no
- Chopped tomatoes- 2 nos
- Sliced Green chilli-1 no
- Green Chilli sauce- 2 tbsp
- Salt- to season the chicken
- Chopped Boneless chicken- 1 cup (cleaned and washed)
- Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
- Maggi cubes with masala- 2 nos
- Chopped coriander leaves- 2 tbsp
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a pan, add chopped garlic to it.
- Saute the garlic till it gets a light golden colour.
- Now add chopped onion and chopped tomatoes to it along with the sliced green chilly.
- Now add the chopped chicken and season it with salt, green chilli paste and pepper powder. Mix well and cook well.
- Now add the maggi masala to it and saute it well.
- We'll add the water when the chicken is around 80% cooked, the rest will be ready by the time maggi is being cooked.
- Add 1 1/2 cups of water to the cooking masala.
- Don't add excess water as we don't want soupy maggi. Any ways, it's your preference. Comment below if you like your maggi dry or soupy. I personally prefer that the maggi should not be too dry, but only little soup to just coat the noodles well.
- Once the water comes to a boil, add maggi cubes and let it cook.
- Keep stirring in intervals until the maggi is almost cooked.
- Check the maggi and add any spice if required.
- Once the maggi is cooked, cover and let it rest for 2 mins.
- Your delicious Viral Green chilli maggi with chicken is ready. Serve it hot.
