*Chicken- 500gms (Washed and drained)
*Onion- 2 (Medium sized, thinly sliced)
*Tomatoes- 3 (Medium sized, sliced)
*Spring Onion- 2 cups (Finely chopped)
*Ginger- garlic paste- 2 tsp
*Salt- to taste
*Red chili powder- 1 tsp (More or less according to your taste)
*Slit Green Chillies- 4-5 nos
*Bay leaves- 2 nos
*Green cardamoms- 2 nos
*Dalchini- 3 1" stick
*Cloves- 3 nos
*Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
*Crushed Kasuri methi- 1/2 tsp
*Oil- 1 1/2 tbsp
*Chicken Masala Powder- 2 tsp
*Garam Masala powder- 1/2 tsp
*Jeera Powder- 1 tsp
PROCEDURE:
*Heat oil in a thick-bottomed vessel.
*Add tej patta and the whole spices and fry for 1 min.
*Add onion and fry till translucent.
*Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 30 secs.
*Add chicken to it.
*Add salt and fry the chicken on high heat till the chicken starts changing color.
*Now add chopped tomatoes and mix well and add all the powdered spices.
*Mix well add 1 cup of water and allow the chicken to cook on medium flame in its own juices.
*Allow to cook till the chicken is tender.
*Now add kasuri methi, onion greens and green chillies.
*Allow to simmer for 5 more mins.
*Lastly, Sprinkle Coriander leaves and juice of one lemon.
*Serve hot with Kulcha, roti or white rice.
