PALAK PANEER


This classic dish is just everyone's favourite. The obsession for palak paneer is never ending. Succulent paneer in a creamy palak gravy is sure to make you drool over it. Try this recipe and let me know in the comments how it turned out.

 Ingredients:-

·      Palak (Spinach) – 1 Large Bunch.
·      Fresh Paneer – 200 gms
·      Ghee – 1 Large tbsp.
·      Onion – 1 Large | Finely Chopped
·      Tomatoes – 2 Finely Chopped.
·      Bay Leaf – 2
·      Jeera – ½ tsp
·      Fennel Seed (Saunf) – ½ tsp.
·      Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
·      Jeera Powder – ½ tsp.
·      Ginger & Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
·      Salt To Taste.
·      Garam Masala – ¼ tsp.
·      Butter – 1 Dollop (optional)

Method: -

*Heat Water in A Large Pan.
*When Water Comes to A Boil Add Cleaned and Washed Palak Leaves. *Blanch For 2 Mins. 
*Take Chilled Water in A Tub. Remove Palak From Pan and Add It in Chilled Water. 
*Let It Cool Drain from Water and Blend It into A Fine Paste. And Keep It Aside.

          Take A Pan and Pour Ghee in It. Add Bay Leaf, Cumin Seeds (Jeera) & Fennel Seeds. Let It Splutter for A Minute. Add Onion, Sauté till It Softens. Add Ginger & Garlic Paste and Stir Well. Add Red Chilli Powder and Palak Paste and Stir Well. Add Garam Masala Powder and Jeera Powder to It. Mix Well and Allow to Simmer For 5 Minutes. Add Salt to Taste.
         
           Add Paneer Cubes to The Palak Gravy. Simmer For 5 Minutes. You Can Add Butter for Added Flavour.  Serve Hot with Parotas Or White Rice.
