Extending the lunch-box series even more with easy aloo roti dishes. Easy
kadhai aloo can be served with roti and even tastes amazing with plain rice and

INGREDIENTS:
*Oil- 1 tbsp
*Jeera- ¼ tsp
*Saunf- ¼ tsp
*Tej patta- 1 nos
*Onions- 2 nos (medium sized, finely chopped)
*Salt- to taste
*Potatoes- 4 nos (medium sized, and halved and sliced into 1 cm thick
slices)
*Salt- to taste
*Tomatoes- 2 nos (medium sized, finely chopped)
*Kasuri methi- 1 tsp (crushed)
*Jeera powder- 1 tsp
*Coriander powder- 1 tsp
*Maggi masala- 1 tsp
*Red chili powder- 1 tsp
*Chopped coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
PROCEDURE:
*Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
*Add jeera, saunf and tej patta and let it splutter.
*Now add onions and salt and saute till translucent.
*Now add potatoes and fry for 2 mins.
*Add chopped tomatoes and fry till it turns slightly mushy.
*And rest of the ingredients and mix well.
*Add ½ cup water and close the lid and cook on high flame for 1
whistle.
*Let the pressure release naturally.
*Check for seasoning and add salt and red chili powder if needed.
*Evaporate excess water.
*Serve hot with roti or plain rice with ghee.
