SHAWARMA SAUCE

 

We bring to you the ultimate Shawarma sauce recipe, this is the desi version of the original sauce. I’ve changed it according to the Indian pallete. Try this yummy and creamy sauce recipe and let me know in the comments how it turned out.

 

INGREDIENTS:


*Thick Curd- 1 cup (200 ml)

*Mayonnaise- 3 tbsp

*Salt- to taste

*Onion- 1 nos (roughly chopped)

*Green chilies- 2 nos

*Garlic- 8-10 cloves

*Coriander leaves- 1 cup

*Mint leaves- 1 cup

*Jeera powder- ½ tsp

*Black pepper powder- ½ tsp

*Chaat masala powder- 1 tsp

*Juice of 1 lemon

 


 

PROCEDURE:

*Put all the ingredients in the blender jar except for curd and mayo.

*Puree to a fine paste.

*Now add mayo and curd and blend them.

*Check for seasoning.

*Add more salt and pepper if required.

*Remove it in a bowl and voila! Your shawarma sauce is ready.
