For every meat lover, mutton chops are a synonym of a good starter. It
consists of flavorful spices laced onto the mutton chops. If you are looking
for a perfect dish for a bakrid dinner, then mutton chops can be your savoiur.

INGREDIENTS:
*Mutton chops- 1 kg
*Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tbsp
*Salt- to taste
*Red chili powder- 1 tsp
*Pepper powder- 1 tsp
*Water- 1 cup
For the Marinade:
*Yoghurt- ¼ cup
*Ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp
*Red chili powder- 1 tsp
*Crushed kasuri methi- ½ tsp
*Chicken masala powder- 1 tsp
*Mutton masala powder- ½ tsp
*Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
*Black pepper powder- ½ tsp
*Cornflour- 1 tbsp
*Salt- to taste
*Oil- for frying
PROCEDURE:
*In a large mixing bowl, add washed mutton chops and all the
ingredients below it except for the marinade ingredients.
*Mix well and rub the masala all over the chops.
*Let it rest for about 10 mins.
*Now add these pieces to a pressure cooker along with water.
*Pressure cook for around 2-3 whistles.
*Cook these pieces until the mutton is 90% done.
*Remove these pieces out on a plate and let it cool down.
*Now in a large mixing bowl, add the pieces and all the ingredients
listed under the marinade.
*Gently apply the masala on the pieces and place it on plates and let
it marinate for 1-2 hrs.
*You can even marinate it overnight, as this will make the meat more
flavorful.
*Heat an iron tawa, add the chops one by one, drizzle some oil.
*Fry the chops till crispy.
*Serve hot along with onion slices, lemon wedges and cucumber slices.
