NOTES:

*Substitute for Instant gulab jamun mix powder is milk powder.

The original recipe asks for milk powder, but I wanted to try this way. So, I made two batches of pedas. The first one with milk powder and second one with Gulab jamun mix. The pedas made with gulab jamun mix were glossy, much more creamy than the other, and had a good texture. I suggest you to use Gulab jamun mix in your pedas.

*Use ripe mangoes for this recipe, any mango of your choice will go.

*I have used fresh mangoes here, you can use store-bought canned mangoes too.

*The reason behind freezing the pedas for 5 mins is that the pedas are soft and will hold shape when placed in the freezer.

*You can add chopped dry fruits in the mixture before shaping, it will add a crunch to your pedas.
