We all adore the spicy red chutney at South-Indian hotels that goes perfectly with Masala Dosa. And after a lot of trial and error we've finally aced the red chutney recipe. A chutney packed with flavors which are never going to disappoint you. Try this spicy red chutney along with Masala Dosa and let us know how it was.
INGREDIENTS:
- Dry red chillies- 8-10 nos
- Salt- to taste
- Garlic cloves- 6-7 nos
- Onion- 1 no (finely chopped)
- Roasted gram dal- 1/4 cup
- Water to grind the chutney.
PROCEDURE:
- Soak the chillies in hot water for at-least 30-40 mins.
- Remove them in a jar, Strain the water and use only the chillies and discard the water.
- To the same jar, add the rest of the ingredients except water.
- Blend the contents for a min, now add a little water to it.
- Again grind it to a smooth paste. Check for salt and add more if required.
- Remove it in a bowl, Spicy red chutney is ready. Serve right away along with Masala Dosa.
