Butter Garlic prawns are a classic seafood recipe made by pan-frying prawns along with butter, garlic and a few spices. INGREDIENTS:
- Prawns- 500 gms (de-shelled and de-veined)
- Oil- 1 tsp
- Butter- 1 tbsp
- Garlic- 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Salt- to taste
- Chilli flakes- 2 tsp
- Crushed black pepper- 1 tsp
- Chopped coriander leaves- 1/4 cup
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
PROCEDURE:
- De-vein the prawns and wash it well. Drain it in a colander.
- Heat an iron tawa, add oil and butter to it. Allow the butter to melt.
- Now add the chopped garlic and saute well. fry it for 10-15 secs or until it turn light golden.
- Now add washed and drained prawns to it and make sure that you don't overlap the prawns. Cover it and let it cook for 2 mins.
- You'll notice that the prawns have turned pink and they've let out lots of water. Cook them on open for a min or so.
- Now add salt, chilli flakes, black pepper and coriander leaves.
- Mix well and check for seasoning and add more salt or spice if needed.
- Turn off the flame, add lemon juice to it and stir gently.
- Butter garlic prawns are ready. Serve them right away along with roti or rice. You can devour them as it is.

- I have used fresh prawns here, you can even use frozen prawns.

The best way to reheat prawns it to remove the desired amount you need in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for only 20 secs. After microwaving serve right away.
