A no-Hazelnut Chocolate spread recipe. Yummy, chocolatey and heavenly Chocolate spread ready within an hour and by using all easily available ingredients. Nutella contains hazelnuts and most of us are allergic to it and also the fact that hazelnuts are not easily available, that's why this recipe is free of hazelnuts. This simple yet indulging recipe is quick and also easy on your pockets, whereas store-bought Chocolate spreads are way-too expensive. INGREDIENTS:*Milk- 2 cups
*Sugar- 1/2 cup (more or less according to your taste)
*Cocoa powder- 3 tbsp
*Cornflour- 1/4 cup
*Chopped Milk Chocolate- 1/2 cup
*Fresh cream- 3 tbsp
PROCEDURE:
*Add milk to a non-stick pan and allow it to come to a boil.
*Add sugar to it and mix well to dissolve.
*Take some milk from the pan in a bowl.
*Add cornflour and cocoa powder to it and mix using a whisk to remove all the lumps.
*Gradually, add the cocoa mix to the milk while stirring continuously.
*You'll notice that the mixture has thickened, Cook it for 5 more mins until it reaches a thick pudding consistency.
*Now check for sugar and add more sugar if required.
*Add chopped chocolate and fresh cream to it, mix well and allow to simmer for 5 mins.
*You'll notice that the chocolate has melted beautifully.
*Switch off the flame and allow to cool completely.
*The mixture has thickened more at this stage..
*Transfer it to a sterilised jar and refrigerate until use. Since, this spread is free of preservatives it's necessary to store it in the fridge section.
