Chatpata Chana Salad

  A healthy salad recipe with absolutely NO OIL used. A great way to include proteins in your diet. This chatpata salad is sure to satisfy your chaat cravings. Try this healthy recipe and let me know in the comments how it turned out.





INGREDIENTS:

*Black Chana- 1 1/2 cups

*Onion- 2 (medium sized, finely chopped)

*Tomato- 1 (medium sized, finely chopped)

*Cucumber- 1 (large, finely diced)

*Carrot- 1 (medium sized, finely chopped)

*Mint leaves- 2 tbsp (finely chopped)

*Salt- to taste

*Red chili powder- 1/2  tsp

*Chaat masala- 1 tsp

*Lemon juice- 1 tbsp

*Jeera powder- 1 tsp


PROCEDURE:




*Add washed black chana, some salt and water in a pressure cooker.

*Pressure cook for about 3 whistles or until the beans are soft and tender.

*Remove the cooked chana in a large bowl.

*Now add all the chopped veggies and all the masalas.

*Toss well to mix.

*Add the Green paste to it.

*Mix gently using a ladle.
