A very flavorful beef side dish prepared with minimum ingredients. This dish is sure to surprise you with it ’s flavors. Try it and tell me if you enjoyed it.
INGREDIENTS:
*300 gm boneless beef [cut into small pieces]
*4 tomatoes medium sized- chopped
*3 onion medium sized- chopped
*½ tsp salt
*½ tsp chilli powder
*1 cup water
*pinch of red food colour
FOR TEMPERING:
*7-8 whole red chillies- broken into pieces
*1 bowl full- curry leaves
*1 tbsp oil
METHOD:
*Wash beef well and drain out excess water. Put meat in a pressure cooker, Add chopped tomatoes and onions.
*Add red chilli powder and salt. Add water. *Cook for four whistles. Allow the pressure to cool naturally. Check if beef is tender or else pressure cook again.
*Place cooker on medium flame and evaporate excess water.
*Heat oil in a kadhai and add oil, when the oil is hot, add curry leaves, Allow it to splutter well.
*Now add broken red chilli pieces, fry for a few seconds and add the beef and mix well. Add red food colour and mix again, evaporate if there is excess liquid.
*Serve hot with roti or naan.
