We’ve got you the tastiest fool-proof sheekh recipe, can be made both
on tawa as well as tandoor. Try this bakrid special recipe and let me know in

INGREDIENTS:
For the sheekh masala powder:
*Zeera- 1 ½ tbsp.
*Coriander seeds- 1 ½ tbsp.
*Black Peppercorns- 10-12 nos
*Red chilies- 4-5 nos
*Ajwain- ½ tsp
*Saunf- 2 tsp
*Tej patta- 2 nos
*Roasted gram dal- ½ cup
For the Sheekh masala paste:
*Onion- 1 (roughly chopped, medium sized)
*Green chillies- 3 nos
*Jeera powder- 1 tsp
*Coriander leaves- ½ cup
*Mint leaves- ½ cup
*Salt-to taste
*Mutton mince- 1 kg
*Maggi masala-e-magic- 1 pkt
*Oil- for greasing and frying
PROCEDURE:
For the sheekh masala powder:
*Dry roast all the ingredients listed under masala powder on a low
flame until all the spices turn aromatic.
*Remove it in a plate and let it cool down.
*Grind the spice mix to a fine powder.
*Sheekh masala is ready.
*You can prepare this masala in advance to save time.
For the sheekh paste:
*In a blender jar, add onion, green chilies, salt and jeera powder.
*Blend this to a fine paste.
*Set this mixture aside.
The Assembly:
*In a food processor jar, add the minced mutton and some salt.
*Process it to a fine consistency.
*Now add the shekh masala powder and the paste.
*Process it till everything is combined well.
*Take ice cream sticks, you can use skewers too.
*With the help of greased hand, take a ball-sized mixture and shape it evenly around the stick.
*Place it in the freezer for about 10 mins.
*Heat some oil a cast iron tawa, place the frozen sheeks and fry them.
*Flip them gently ensuring even colour on all the sides.
*You can alternatively do this on a tandoor.
*Once done, serve hot with some onion rings and lemon wedges.
