EID-SPECIAL BADAM HARIRA

 

The ultimate Eid delicacy, Eid feels incomplete without this harira. Easy to make, made with easily available ingredients, this drink is sure to make your family drool over it. Try this eid-special recipe and let me know in the comments how it turned out.

 


INGREDIENTS:

*Full-fat milk- 1 ltr

*Ghee- 2 tbsp

*Almonds- 40 nos

*Sugar- 5 tbsp (more or less according to your taste)

*Green cardamom- 3 nos

*Dalchini- 2 1’’ sticks

 


PROCEDURE:

*Soak Almonds overnight and peel them.

*Grind them to a fine paste adding little milk. Keep in mind that the paste should be very very fine.

*Heat a vessel and add ghee.

*When it turns hot, add cardamom and dalchini.

*Now add Almond paste, while stirring continuously.

*Add milk slowly to it, stirring continuously.

*Let it boil, stirring continuously.

*Add sugar and let it boil, all done.

*Eid-special Badam Harira is ready, serve hot.
