SHAHI PINEAPPLE HALWA

 


Pineapple halwa is simply pineapple cooked in ghee along with khoya and sponge cake. It has its own unique texture and taste. You can serve this halwa as a dinner dessert dish.

 

INGREDIENTS:

*Diced pineapples- 2 cups

*Ghee- 3 tbsp

*Sugar- ½ cup

*Khoya- ¼ cup

*Crumbled sponge cake- ¼ cup

*Almonds- 3or 4 {sliced}

*Pomegranate seeds- for garnishing

 

PROCEDURE:

*In a large kadhai, heat ghee and add pinapples.

*Cook the pineapple until mushy stirring continuously. This may take around 10 mins.

*Now add sugar and mix to dissolve.

*Now cook this mixture until all the excess water has evaporated.

*Now add crumbled khoya and almonds and mix well.

*Cook this for another 5 mins.

*Switch off the flame and add crumbled cake.

* Mix well, garnish with pomegranate seeds and serve hot
