Pineapple halwa is simply pineapple cooked in ghee along with khoya and
sponge cake. It has its own unique texture and taste. You can serve this halwa
as a dinner dessert dish.
INGREDIENTS:
*Diced pineapples- 2 cups
*Ghee- 3 tbsp
*Sugar- ½ cup
*Khoya- ¼ cup
*Crumbled sponge cake- ¼ cup
*Almonds- 3or 4 {sliced}
*Pomegranate seeds- for garnishing
PROCEDURE:
*In a large kadhai, heat ghee and add pinapples.
*Cook the pineapple until mushy stirring continuously. This may take
around 10 mins.
*Now add sugar and mix to dissolve.
*Now cook this mixture until all the excess water has evaporated.
*Now add crumbled khoya and almonds and mix well.
*Cook this for another 5 mins.
*Switch off the flame and add crumbled cake.
* Mix well, garnish with pomegranate seeds and serve hot
