Spicy potato filling stuffed in bread squares, then dipped and coated
in crumbs and fried to get the perfect crisp.

INGREDIENTS:
For the filling:
*Potatoes- 2 medium sized (boiled and mashed)
*Green peas- boiled
*Salt as per taste
*Chilli flakes- 2 tsp (add more if you prefer more spicy)
*Coriander leaves- 5 tbsp (finely chopped)
*Mint leaves- 5 tbsp (finely chopped)
*Jeera powder- 1 tsp
*Grated carrot- 5 tbsp
*Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
*Pepper powder- 1 tsp
For the squares:
*White bread- 10
*Mayo
*Ketchup
For dipping:
*Eggs- 2
*Milk- 5 tbsp
*Salt- as per taste
*Pepper powder- 1 tsp
*For coating
*Crushed poha or avalakki (uncooked)
For frying:
*Oil- ½ cup
INSTRUCTIONS:
For the filling:
*In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and give it a good
mix.
*Check for seasoning and add as required.
*Refrigerate the mixture until further use.
Let’s prepare the bread slices:
*Take the bread slices and trim out the edges.
*Now apply a layer of ketchup and mayo each on the slices.
*Now spread the prepared mixture on the slices.
*Cover it with another slice.
*Now cut the sandwich into 4 cubes.
For dipping:
*Beat eggs along with milk and spices.
Frying:
*Heat around 1 tbsp oil on a tawa
*Take the bread cubes.
*Dip them in the egg mixture.
*Now coat it with avalakki.
*Place it on the heating tawa.
*Shallow fry for about 2 mins on each side until brown and crispy.
*Mix vegetable bread squares are ready.
*Serve hot along with ketchup.
