Eggless Tutti Frutti Cake

 

Tutti frutti cake is a popular cake loved by kids and adults alike. This cake is moist, delicious and looks so pretty dotted with some sweet tutti frutti. Give this recipe a try and let me know in the comments how it turned out.

 







INGREDIENTS:

*Curd- 1 cup

*Powdered sugar- 1 cup

*baking powder- 1 tsp

*baking soda- ½  tsp

*tutti frutti-1/2 cup

*raisins-1 tbsp + flour- 1tsp

*vanilla extract-1 tsp

*salt-1 pinch

*oil- ½ cup

*flour- 1& ½ cup

 

PROCEDURE:

*In a large mixing bowl, add curd and powdered sugar and whisk until all the sugar is dissolved.

*Now add baking powder and baking soda. Mix well.

*set it aside for 10 mins.

*In a smaller bowl add tutti frutti, raisins and coat well with flour.

* After 10 mins, add vanilla essence, salt and oil and mix well.

*Now add pre-sifted flour to it and gently fold in the mixture.

*Now add the tutti futti which we coated earlier.

*Give it a good mix.

*Pour this batter onto a greased 6 inch tin.

*Bake this cake in a preheated kadhai for 40 mins[low flame]

*Let the cake cool completely and cut into slices.

*Eggless tutti frutti cake is ready.
