Pineapple Kesari Bath



Ever wondered why homemade kesari bath isn’t soft enough like the hotel- style?
Follow this recipe to get soft, flavourful, yummy kesari bath like you get in hotels.

Serves 6




Ingredients:
v Sooji/Rava -  1 ½ cup
v Sugar - 2 cup
v Pineapple – 1 small {peeled & chopped}
v Ghee – 2 table spoon
v Yellow food color – a pinch
v Cashew nuts – 7-8 {broken into small pieces}
v Raisins – 10-12
v Dalchini – 1” stick
v Green cardamom – 3 nos
Method:
v Boil 3 cups of water with food colour; keep aside.
v Heat Ghee; fry cashew nuts in it till light brown; remove & keep aside.
v Fry raisins in the same ghee, remove & keep aside.
v Now add dalchini & cardamom; fry for 2-3 seconds. Add sooji and stir slowly; stir continuously to avoid lumps; mix well.
v Allow to rest in a low flame for 2-3 mins.
v Meanwhile, take pineapple pieces; half of the pieces should be finely chopped & the other half should be made into puree.
v Now add sugar to sooji; mix well.
v After the sugar dissolves, add pineapple pieces& puree. Mix well.
v Now add the dry fruits; mix again. Serve hot.


Chefs tip: Serve with hot pakodas & piping hot cup of filter coffee.
